Me Vs Neon SRT-4
Well if any of you have read my previous posts about the airport racing, theres a new cat in town. This guy got scratched/bit in the face by someone's dog and has a huge scar on his face. Well with the settlement money what better way to spend it than to get a new car?? Since the two brothers around Chilli already have and Evo and an STi, he decided to get the SRT-4 and put a couple grand into it. Well first we lined up and I beat him off the line, and he didnt pull too hard on me in second gear.. but third and fourth gear, well..we had me by about 2.5-3 cars. So then he lined up with the Evo with full exhaust and he beat the evo by about 2 cars.. also playing catch-up on him in third and 4th..

95 ls with GSR head aem cai, dc sport header, greddy exhaust, pyr computer chip(red-8500) type r pistons, skunk 2 intake manifold and coilovers, aem fuel regulator, msd ignition wires, unorthodox underdrive pulley And Now Skunk2 stage 2 cams but not installed.. all sleepin in a black body...

that wasnt that difficult to follow. you must have one fast teg. dyno tune it when you get those cams in and tell us what numbers you are pulling. or post the dyno sheet.

ummm im sorry, but if you buy a SRT-4 and dump a couple grand into it, you will be smoking corvettes, one of my buddies has one and put about 2,100 into the engine, just a new turbo, intercooler and a few other little things like boost controller and he beats Z06's....sounds fishy to me

the whole car length thing is totally misunderstood, you think if you race a car and he beats you by like 1 car your like right on his ass with similar times...
NOPE i raced a friend this weekend at the track he has a 91 formula on this particular run he ran a 14.1 *one of his slower times* and i ran a 15.1 *one of my slower times* and he only had me by about a car length on the street that would look great but at the track he still ran about a full second faster than me...alittle is alot in racing...
