Recently My father Purchased a 95' Land Rover Discovery in beautiful shape, For the life of us we Cannot figure out how shift it into four wheel low..
I've tried Neutral, rolling slowly in Drive the damn shift lever on the floor wont budge.. Any Ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im thinking because these trucks are so advanced Im looking past something, Thanks, Jimmy |

While driving slowly, put the main shift lever in "Neutral" so you are coasting in neutral. Now shift the transfer case lever from HI to LOW. Once you feel it engage, put the main shift lever back in "Drive" (or in gear if it's a manual) and away you go.
Just a side note, to lock the center differential, you can be in any gear going any speed, you just have to make sure you are going in a straight line. Then slide the transfer gearbox lever into or out of Diff lock. If you are still having trouble, I would check with a dealer. Best, -Brad |

It could be jamed in which case...I for get what your suspost to do. Just look in your manual

when slowly rolling in neutral, put the diff lock into neatral...dont do it all at once. then when you hear the beaping, put it into low, then push over to the left
