Most hp out of D16Z6?

I am thinking of building up my Civics D16Z6 engine. I would like to know how much hp is possible and how to get it without switching out the engine. If anyone could give any help or any links to some top D16's I would be greatful. I would like to get up above 300 if not higher. Any help is appriciated.

Sincerely, goodluck with the 300hp goal. I own a 94 civic with the d16z6 and since i have a auto tranny i supercharged it threw on basically every bolt-on in creation including cam gear, underdrive pulley, fuel rail, fuel pump, injectors, full exhaust conversion (header to tail 2 1/4" piping), intake, and carbon fibered the whole front end and much more that i lack the memory to list at the moment but i barely broke 310 horse and i cant get below 13s on the track...it looks good under the hood but a stock 240 with a stock sr20det swap still killed me...dont make the same mistake i did and fall into the belief that vtec is godly even tho you dont have DOHC...just a few helpful hints. Let me know what your goals and plans are and perhaps i might be able to help.

Check out http://www.d-series.org/. The people over there are pretty knowledgeable if your going to keep with the d16z6.
