Re: air intakes????????????

What brand of filter did you use? Did you replace the pipe too or just changed the filter?

Re: air intakes????????????

So you removed your airbox, put on a K&N cone filter attached to your Mass Air Sensor, and the pipe that connects the MAS to your engine is what is shaking? Is your filter tightened on well? And is your MAS supported by a bracket of any kind?

Re: air intakes????????????

What's the difference between the filters with a hole in the middle and the one's without a hole?

Re: air intakes????????????

i cant tell if its the filter bangigng against the top of the hood or if its the filter against the side. I could even be the MAS pipe against the engine. It's usally happens when im not on the gas but not when the gear is slowing the car down. it happens in the middle when i saty at a constant RPM. and i tried putting brackets on it and it still didn't work. i even tried tying and taping it down. im open to any sugestions and advice you got guys.
thnx

Re: air intakes????????????

Hmm, any chance you can get a friend to step on the gas while your looking under the hood so you can find out exactly what it is?

Yo NightRiderGT, did you ever figure out what went wrong? Did you fix the problem? I'm very curious as to what happened....
