Re: Twin Turbo GSX.
Do you have any more info on your project? I'm skeptical of the benefits, but it sounds unique and it would be interesting to see pics. Have any?

i second that... now on to the turbo set up! yes a twin turbo set up would be interesting on a GSX although, how are you planning on doin it, there are 2 ways that i have seen it done and one of the ways you would be better off sticking with one turbo, the other one works pretty good!
the one that works good is using the stock turbo to spool up a substantially larger turbo... although it can be dangerous! the one that you wouldnt see much of a gain for compared to a larger turbo, is using the 1st and 4th exhaust port to one turbo and the 2nd and 3rd to another turbo! yes it would look cool but it will cost you a shit more to do the twin set up and you will still see the same results if you would spend less money on one large turbo! anyways... good luck with it and post some pics when its done... oh and let us know the progress, and dont be afraid to ask if you have problems! Re: Twin Turbo GSX.
Thanks guys. I realize the difficulty in this project but I already have the manifolds, turbos, and downpipes set up. If this works I plan to upgrade the turbos to a big t28 and a larger turbo to pick up were the t28 left off. Thanks.

Re: Twin Turbo GSX.
Wow. All I can say is that looks like a very cool concept. We will anxiously await results! Do you have a built engine already, because it seems that if this setup works efficiently, you could be putting down some serious hp in the future! (especially if you upgrade the turbos past T28) Watch out Shep

Re: Twin Turbo GSX.
Just keep in mind that twin turbos are not done for more power, but for more power without increasing lag. And on a 4 banger you have very little leverage in the lag department with twin turbo, since only two half liter cylinders is feeding each one anyway. Even a t25 wont spool very quick on just two half liter cylinders
A single turbo will make more power than 2 t25/28s, etc. I'm not sure the extra complication is worth it. People have done this in the past, and its always for sale on ebay at some point But its good to see people actually doing things, not just talking about them... So I give credit for that. I just wish that more people that try this would post the results for power and lag.
