Angry ahhhh

Man this sucks, I was playing drums today, to some Rush (Tom Sawyer) and my drum heads decided to break, I mean it was like spontanious, lol first my stick cracks, (no biggie) then, my tom head splits down the middle, and to make matters worse my snare drum head did the same thing, man maybe I should of stuck to what Neil Peart said in his Drumming Movie "use remo heads they are the best)

I am just lucky my band was not playing a gig

Re: ahhhh

it should not cost that much, I am going to look into prices (should be about 10-15 dollars for each head), luckly there is a music store, near me, I can spin the sticks in my hand, but I am a little rusty with it, but Practice makes perfect

Re: ahhhh

Hey man, when you put new heads on, there is that worksite tape, they use it on floors and such, looks almost like that yellow and black " police Line, do not cross " tape. super sticky stuff, and really durable. Run a cross of that across the middle of the head, where ever you smack the most with your stick. It keeps the dents out of the skins, and does not affect the sound or tuning ability. Makes them last a hell of a lot longer too.

good luck, and yes, practice makes perfect
