Question Celica Motors

I'm new to the toyota/vvti thing but I'm trashing my current car (civic) and am very interested in getting a 97 celica gt. I'm clueless as to what the engine code is (civic:d16z6). I need the code for after-market parts and such. I'm looking to have a custom built motor from LC Engineering but I dont know wether to use the 20r or 22re or what? PLZ HELP!

Re: Celica Motors

Your going to ahve to ask the LC guys about that one.. most of us in the forum from what I have seen don't pay a lot of attention to engines prior to the 3SGE engine
