Re: fuel pump problems i think?

replace the fuel filter before you get too far ahead of your self. i would install a pressure gage and take it for a good drive before condeming the pump.

It will tell ya how much pressure your pump is putting out. First thing you need to do is change the fuel filter like previously suggested. Chances are that could be what your problem is. They are only like $10 at Advanced Autoparts. I would also run some fuel injection cleaner through it too, becuase it could be dirty injectors causing your problem.

I usually use STP, its in the black bottle. But for my last oil change I used Valvoline MaxLife Fuel System treatment. It came with the oil I bought so I figured I would try it.

If your fuel pressure is not that, then your pump is going down.

Re: fuel pump problems i think?

change the spark plugs back to the expensive 8 dollar a piece ac delco double platinums. every other plug ive ran in mine did same as what yours is. i would recommend changing back to these original plugs.
