aluminum rims
i have an 84 shelby charger, that has aluminum rims, and i was wondering if ther was something out there that would polish them up good, { without a lot of elbo grease }. i have tryed muthers polish, and some blue polish, boath of witch i bought at wall-mart work ok after a day of work the rims look like new, but then a few days later there dull again. Any home remideys, or ideas would be welcome.

Re: aluminum rims
any good paint polish with a terry towel should work, you can also try a swirl mark remover. you should try to avoid cleaning your wheels with butyl based cleaners and IMO you should avoid using a carnuaba wax on them cause they tend to attract brake dust a make it harder to clean
