95 Integra GS? is there a GS

There is a 1995 Acura Integra "GS" sedan $4500 obo that I want to buy.

Now Ive searched all over the internet to try and see if there is in fact a model "GS" and I havent found one.

I would assume they just left out the -R but Ive also searched and GS-R only are 5 speed manuals.

This "GS" is an automatic.

Is it possible to make a GS-R an automatic?

also in a sales add for the options section what does this mean
pp (464648)

Also I have found an website importmodifications.com and they have a GS listed but no RS this has led me to believe that the GS and the RS are the same trim?

Re: 95 Integra GS? is there a GS

So then which is the lowest model..the RS or the GS?

I know the LS is the middle package and the GS-R is the top package. Where do the RS and GS compare to each other?

So then it is the RS LS SE GS-R..where does that leave the GS?

I cant find it anywhere, and I want to buy this car by next weekend.

Where does that GS rank amongst the other Trims?

Why cant I find any information about it?

Ive found one site with the GS but there was no RS leaving me to believe that the RS and GS are one and the same.

Everywhere else Ive checked there is RS but no GS.

If in fact a GS=RS are the 4 door 1995 worth $4,500 in good condition

Ok I found this in the F/A

the trims rate like this from lowest to highest
RS, LS, SE, GS, GS-R, Type-R

Why cant I find GS specs or anything about that trim for the 1995?

I live in California..did they not bring that model to the U.S.?

Any information about the GS would be greatly appreciated.

How much do they go for?

Re: 95 Integra GS? is there a GS

LS/RS/GS have the same engine specs.

I would assume the only differences were in luxury/standard options and packages

i already posted the specs for the car.

here is a useful link

Re: 95 Integra GS? is there a GS

I think in the early 3rd gens there was only RS/LS/GSR's and then the GS came in a couple years or something. but as far as I know the GS is the top of the line before you get into the GSR, still on vtec engine but has every option on it standard. not sure about leather but probably, at least an option I'd bet though.

They mean that it's a Special Edition model.

from my research the Special Edition name was changed to GS in '97. so GS and SE have the same standard features: leather, full power, automatic, moonroof, wood grain, wheels.

here's some history:

'94 models came in these forms: base RS, luxury LS, and sporty GS-R
'95 added the Special Edition model
97-2001 models RS through LS, GS, and GS-R. Midyear, however, Acura unveiled a limited-edition Type-R

P.S. i have a '95 Special Edition sedan

In that case, what did the rims look like that came with the car?

I want to see if the rims on the car Im going to buy are the stock rims or if they took them off and replaced them with something else.

integrasedan has it right on the money.

the rims should look like this:
stock rims are 15"

Not all Special Editions are auto, mine's a 5spd. The stock rims for the SE are the same as GSR. But the GS has the LS rims, so you're right on that one.

But I thought that the SE was the GS?

If that is the case, wouldnt the GS have the same rims as the SE?

from the previous posts Im understanding that the SE model was later named the GS model or vice versa.

If thats the case, doesnt that mean it is the same car and should have the same wheels?

I apologize for so many questions but I plan on buying the car on saturday if it checks out alright. Is a 1995 GS worth $4,500?

Im not sure how many miles are on it, add did not say.

Re: 95 Integra GS? is there a GS

Nevermind I think I got it. The SE and GS are different. They brought out the SE in 95, and then in 97 they brought out the GS which are pretty much equals. So in the sale add the 95 GS is really a 95 SE correct? meaning it should have the rims shown in the picture.
