Question My Dad NEEDS HELP WITH 1984 TRUCK

Hi,
My Dad has a 1984 ford pickup with a 300 6 cylinder and was wondering what the compression should be in the cylinders.
What would good compression be or bad..(80-90?)
Also..he had his carburator overhauled and it seems to be using a LOT of fuel..and not having any power.
Anybody have any answers to my questions would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading!
Also..my thought on the power would be a bad coil...just my thought?

OK, from the 1984 Ford truck shop manual.
They dont give a chart for listing compression numbers per motor. They say ("The compression PSI of the lowest cylinder must be within 75% of the highest to be within specification") Then they give a chart for cross checking The only thing is the lowest PSI rate is 100 psi. So that puts you way outa spec
I am sure your dad knows to put some oil in the cyl. for testing ring vs. valve. But that would be my first test.
Without good compression there is no real way(or reason) you can get the carb set
