Help with 1995 neon!
I have been having problems with my plymouth neon for the last few months or so! When I step on the gas my car does not want to go and I am pushing almost all the way to the floor and then all of a sudden I take off and my car seems fine then later it will continue to do the exact same thing! I dont know what to do, and I have a few ideas of what it could be but I dont want to spend more money than I have too!
Does anyone think they could help me! I assumed it was my timing belt about to go but I got that fixed and some other belts and it is still acting up and my family does not want me to drive it because they are afraid that something bad will happen to me if it decides to do that again! Thank you for you time, Julie |

Hesitate
Only a guess, possible an intermittant open circuit in the TPS (Throttle Position Switch) transducer? no check engine light on? low trans fluid from leaking cooler line causing fluid aeration?
hmmm? RG |

same prob dodge neon
I have the same problem, except my car is a dodge neon. my check engine light has been on since i purchased it , but no problems otherwise. The car only has this problem sometimes, seems to be worse in wet or extremely humid weather. Help if possible, we have changed out several parts with no benefit.
