Short answer is cause it is not a GTR...its only a GTS25T with standard R33 alloys.

Check the guards, they dont have the fat look....and the panel under the boot with skyline on it is clear not painted as it should be on an R

i was tryin to look at the fenders when i first saw the pics to see if they were flared. but its hard to tell on a R33. soo i just went with what the badget said ont eh back of hte car and just assumed tha tit was a GT-R. but i never remembered the stock GT-S rims lookin like that on a R33. they look amazingly lik ehte stock S14 rims.

Nissan probably shares wheels with different models of cars to save money.

wheels

Those are the S14 rims. but they also came standard on the R33 GTS25T. I actually have a set on my R32 gts-4( they came with the car)

And I think Razor is right. they use the same rims cause it saves money.

Another good way to tell a GTR from a GTS is to look at the side indicators. The indicators on the GTS are really big, whereas the GTR has smaller side indicators and is mounted on the panel.
