Air bag problem

A 1999 hyundai accent had a surging alternator. It blew a fuse on the radio, that was replaced simple enough. But the other problem it caused was the air bag light to come on. I checked the fuses for the air bag, but they are okay.

Could there be a fusible link in the circuit?
If no fusible link, what parts do I look for which could have been effected?

Re: Air bag problem

It might have fried one of the airbag deployment sensors
