V6 engine

Well I've pretty much decided on getting a mustang. I can't afford a GT or the gas it would take so ive decided to go with the V6. Im shoppin around and i see alot of mustangs with high mileage. Im lookin anywhere from 95 and up with only four grand. So I was wondering how long would the engne last, typically, not too mucha hardd drving but say 110k+ highway miles. Can anyone help me?

Re: V6 engine

Depends on current condition and how you maintain it after you buy it. If you buy a clunker and just drive it , it will probly be a clunker and wont last long. But is you recondition the engine and maintain it , it could last a long time respectably.

Well ya i know that. But typically anyone out there care to tell me their mileage on there V6's? I found one I really like but its got 108k miles. So thats really my only reservation. I dont plan on doing too many mods prolly just intake and the one im lookin at alrwady has exhaust so then onto a short thorw and a system.
