most likely you just have a battery ready to go. so replacing your battery will help. I need to replace mine, all my interior lights go dim when my bass hits too, but i have a system in my car...

Perhaps, a higher current alternator might help?

Erick, I'd want to say more that you probably have an alternator problem. People that say it's just the battery, are just kidding themselves, because as you drive, your alternator SHOULD be putting power back into your battery and charging it as you drive. So if you are getting dimming, that means it's not charging correctly, and it's just a matter of time before you go to start your car and it won't start. To find out for sure, go to a Sears (this is one of the only places i know of for this) and to their auto center, and have them perform a load test on your battery to determine for you how good of a shape it's in. If it passes that, then it's your alternator, if not, then get a new battery first, and see if that helps.
