SOHC ZC Mini Me Conversion???
I was just wondering, is it possible to bolt on a VTEC head to a SOHC ZC block? From the exterior the motor looks exactly like my old A6. There's a member in the 92+ forum that wants to know too, so I thought I would ask.

yuuup, its just like doing a mini me on a us market d16a6. The only difference between an 88-91 crx si(d16a6) and the sohc zc is the cam (the JDM cam is slightly more aggressive). Just remember to pull out the oil jet in the block between piston 2 and 3, the newer vtec heads have this oil jet integrated into the head rather than having it plugged into the block. Here's the best sites for d series info:

You can get better results from a $65 cam regrind from Delta cams. Or get a d16y7 head to raise compression, and get better flow... delta grind is also available for that head.
