No spark 3.8 liter

will an ignition module from a 88 olds work in a '92 Lumina APV (3.8)?
They sure LOOK the same...

Ok I changed the ignition Module and now it runs. I cleared the computer and I get a code 56. Book says Quad Driver Module. Where is this? Is it part of the computer? What causes this code?? Should I change the brains of the outfit?? Or does the code come from somewhere else?

in the middle of the same problem. be careful, installed new ignigtion module and blew right away, still checkin

Answered my own question. It won't fit the connector is grooved differently so it won't go
