removal of oil cooler lines

Hey I have a 1997 blazer 4wd. Recently my oil cooler lines started leaking and I need to replace them. One thing that baffles me though is how do I remove the lines from the fittings they go into. Or do I remove the whole fitting, if this is the case how would I go about it.

Re: removal of oil cooler lines

Yep, the lines and fittings are connected. Simply put a wrench on the fittings to remove them, the whole line will come off. You can buy form fitted hoses from the parts store, drain the oil prior to replacing and remember to refill it.
