Lost Rubber Seal

um this may sound stupid but hear me out...
my friend lost a rubber seal on my 5th gen lude.
its like 1 inch retangle seal, im guessing black because i didnt lose it myself and its near the engine bay towards the left and a little lower.
the seal is easy to remove.

if anyone have any ideas if that will damage the car or change the settings of the car, please help me out... im confused about what to do

I kinda know what you're talking about, but I'm not quite sure yet if we're talking about the same seal.

Is this rubber seal located on the transmission? When I got my engine swap, I noticed that I was missing a rubber seal. The hole allowed me to see into my flywheel spinning. I bought the seal at a honda dealer for about $2.50.

If this is in fact the thing you are missing, I suggest you get the plug/seal right away so stuff/debris/rocks doesn't get into the transmission and flywheel.

When I bought it from them, I wasn't able to explain the seal I was talking about to them, so they had to come out to look at the hole in the transmission, but I eventually got the part.
