95 Cavi Stalls after being driven for 20 minutes

When I drive my car for about 20 minutes with out stopping and shutting the enigine off it stalls. But before it stalls it makes all these jerking motion then it dies. I thaught it might of been the fuel filter but we changed that and it still happens. I have been talking to people and I have herd many things, like fuel pump, tranny, and sensors. If anyone can help me I'd be very thankful. we also took it to a mechanic but they diddent find anything wrong with it. It Idles fine and its an auto transmission. I first started having this problem after I did a small but decent burnout at a set of lights. I dont know if I screwed sompthing up or what not. Thanks.

do you still have your gas cap and is it tight? this is a commonly unseen problem with chevys. they will stall sparatically if the cap is not there or loose. also keep in mind that you might have ticked someone off with your burnout and you may have something placed inside your fuel tank that cuts off the fuel only after you have driven for a while. eg: pingpong ball....

my advice is to tune the timing, clean your injectors and get a new set of spark plugs.. if all taht doesnt work i would definetly suggest having it looked at..

Does It Do The Jerking Motion When You Come To A Stop?
If So It Is Probally The Lock Up Solenoid On Your Transmission If It Is A 4 Cylinder You Will Need To Drop The Pan And Replace The Solenoid. It Took Me About A Hour For Everything.

Listen to the fuel pump before it cuts out, check if the fuel pump cuts before the engine.

aficio400's got it right. Pull the TCC fuse and see if it still does it. The torque converter lockup relay is sticking if it acts like you're stalling a standard trans car in 4th gear.
