I'm sure I'd be speaking for the majority of guys who are looking at this thread when i say...... what the f&*$ are you on about dude???? were you drunk when you wrote this or something?

and yeah owning a skyline in the U.S. is hard, but down in Australia and New Zealand the skyline is probably the most common sports car on the road, right along with the wrx and Nissan silvia s15.

Re: The Poor Mans Skyline!!!!

skylines arent that hard to get if you know where to go. you can get em in canada for cheap....r32s only at this point. but then spend the cash you saved for legalizing it for the US...but im sure if it passes canada customs it wont require too much work to legalize it for the US.

you can r32 gtr's for 14-15k US

I know what you mean, but you should put a little more thought into your post.

I truely feel the same as you on the subject. Its mostly the kids that have no idea of what a car is, that think that way.

did you ever stop to think that maybe its personal taste? Also, I really don't take kindly to the way you started your post with "look all you morons out there"....
heres something for ya:

The R32 GTR weighs 1480kgs and the R34 GTR weighs 1540 kgs, so the R32 being a smaller car doesn't really count for much in weight. The R32's length is 4,545mm where the R34's length is 4600 mm, also once again, not much of a difference at all. The R34 is only 30mms wider than the R32 and is 20 mms higher than the R32. I have to say though, all up the R32 is faster in the quarter mile as it runs the 400m in 13 flat where the R34 does it in 13.13, but again not much of a difference so for you to go and call everyone a moron as if the R32 was THAT MUCH better than the R34, well, as you can see here mate theres not much difference in terms of performance or size which you made such a fuss about. So, next time you start a thread and insult everyone, do some research first.

Not trying to pick a fight or nothin, just saying that you should try and be a bit less offensive when you post next time.

DAAAAYUM Zwrangler....you just got ALL my respect! Good research!

Besides, not everybody who's taken an interest in Skylines recently does so because of the FATF. It's not a widely known car in most parts of our country, and kids and other car lover's have to learn about it from somewhere. That is NOT, however, an excuse for not using the "SEARCH" button.

Besides, I think you can honestly blame Gran Tursimo games for a majority of the people asking questions about the car on this forum.

I know where he is coming from, but he could have formed his point of view a little more politicaly correct.

Mostly, its all these kids that come on here to ask questions about a car that is well out of their price range, when you can buy the better true raw GTR that is more than likely in their price range.

I do love the looks of the R34, but I know I will never own one. Would I trade my R32 GTR for one, yes. I would be a fool not too. With that being said, I would hate to have an electrical problem on a R34. Hell, going through my R32 GTR harness is a nightmare, I could only imagine the R34s wires behind the dash

I live in England, so I bought them here.

Don't bother with a GTSt, now you could go with a GTS-4, but you would have to call MotoRex to see if they do the work to bring it in.
