After I/H/E
So i'm going to be getting my header soon, which'll complete the I/H/E combo. I'm also getting bronze 17's for my red Si. I need some knowledgable gear-heads to give me some insight as to what to get next for the car. I was thinking VAFC for fuel tuning, but thats only a few horsepower for $400. I'd consider Skunk2 cams if I got them for the right price but I need to know a little more install info and side-effects. I've heard MSD doesn't do a damn thing on the dyno until ur pushing mad ponies, so thats out of the question. Fuel system is an upgrade, but i need more tech info on that too. I've actually seen a dyno in import tuner of an AEM FPR loosing horsepower so that makes me weary.
Give me your ideas. No stupid ideas please, only people that really know their stuff. Thanks.

really if it was me, I'd start into headwork. Skunk2 or CTR/ITR cams and a Skunk2 valvetrain. JUN cams if you are really pricey. With the new cams get adjustable cam gears and set up an appointment for a dyno session to tune the cams. Then port and polish that head up a lil. That'd be a good start after i/h/e and will keep you occupied for a while.

I don't need a list of shit to do, I just need specific suggestions backed up by proven results, for example, "I think you should get Skunk2 cams next because my friend got them and he got them dyno'd at a 14hp gain..."
Plus I'm not Bill Gates so I can't afford everything... yet...

a member who used to post on the boards alot, but was lost in the move got a 25hp flywheel increase from i/h/e and CTR cams
