one of my friends thought a civic could beat an s13, hehe.

also, for those people with civics all over the place, you're lucky. Around my town are a bunch of NEONS "tricked out". It is pretty funny.

What's wrong with Neons? Seriously? I own one. Compared to stock to stock Neons are a lot better then Civics. My ACR weighs less has a bigger engine with more HP and TQ then even a hatch Civic. Granted it all comes down to the driver.

Depending on what Neon you find they can be pretty quick. My 98 Neon ACR has adjustable Koni struts stock and 4 wheel disc brakes. I my opinion thats a pretty good platform to start from.

lol...i would never buy a civic or neon...but if an SRT-4 neon were to fall in my hands...i'd drive it awhile...till it got boring then sell it...i mean a week or two playing with a car that runs 13.2 sec 1/4 isnt that bad of a heart break for me... (and the 13.2 sec 1/4 was saw with my own eyes...on thing modded on it was the LSD in the front)

this is only sort of related to the initial post...

a friend of mine beat an '01 Prelude in his new STOCK CIVIC...it was pretty damn funny...
the prelude has a bodykit and an injen intake...but that's pretty much it...after such a disgrace, Prelude owner now regrets "suping up" his car...i think he's just making excuses...hehe...

The Civics I've Built Would Beat A 240sx. I Used To Build 13 Sec Hatches For Less Than 2g's..... They Were In The 11's For $3500.

i raced a 90's civic before, i was toyin with him also. at the stop light we looked at each other, he gunned it but i kept up just playin around with him (not flooring it). His engine was workin real hard as I can hear it scream, then when it was around 40 I floored it and went like 10 cars ahead of him, then slowed down to a reasonable speed, pretty funny. Then when I was makin my turn and got in the left turn lane he got his top-speed up to 70 (in a 45) and zoomed past me, was hilarious.
