Blinker Problems - Honda Shadow 750

I got a used Shadow 750, and I'm having blinker problems.

The front lights have two filaments, and the running lights in them work normally.

When I put on the left blinker, the front-left running light goes out,
and the blinker filament does not blink. The rear blinker does not blink either.

Same thing in reverse for when the right blinker is on.

I've checked the switch box on the handlebars, and everything seems to be the same as it is in the service manual.

I'm hoping that it is a simple fix...
Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Thanks.

Check your fuses? Check your relays?

How would I go about testing it? (Manual shows only one relay.)
Fuses are all good.

Yeah you should have only one flasher relay. Well you may have to do a continuity test. But before you go through that check the connections and make sure they all snug. Then I would suggest a continuity test to see where your short is. Sorry I cant be more help.
