upgrading your bike

Im looking at buying a sport bike during the summer. I was just curious what the best bikes out there in the 600cc class, and how easy it is to modify and/or upgrade performance and appearance aspects in my own garage. Are some bikes easier to do work on yourself? And what would be the best value for this type of bike.

Re: upgrading your bike

I have an R6 and it is the best IMO. Handles great. And just an overall fun bike to ride. Im not into stunting so this bike is perfect for what I use it for.

It is VERY easy to upgrade and gain some ponies. Just depends on how much you wanna spend.

I do ALL of the work on my bike myself. I find it easy to work on and I love to work on it.

Hondas tend to be a little higher priced then the other bikes and just have higher resale. Yamahas would be second then prolly the GSXR. They are all FAIRLY even so it just comes down to preference. Get what you like and what feels comfy when sitting on it.

Re: upgrading your bike

Wow theres so many different name brands of parts on my bike. But just remember one thing... if it cost more, it is most likely your getting something better. Of course that isnt ALWAYS the case this is about 95 percent of the time. So if you want the good stuff your gonna have to dish out some more.
