Is it worth purchasing an air intake system for my 2000 XJ? If so what would be a good one to go with other than the $230.00 K&N one.

the rock-it system was a bad design for my 94 xj,the air tube went over the top of the valve cover,the filter ended over top of the heater control valve.i could never understand that because there is not much air intake on that side of the engine...so i bit the bullet and went for the k&n,it was quite a bit of cash $249.00,oh well you only live once.....
