just changed head gasket and put on new exhaust but my idle is off, up and down or just a little high in neutral could someone tell me what to do to get this to idle out smooth or whats causing it

I don't know if this is true but my guess would be that your computer needs time to adjust its settings because of the work you have done.

why is it that in warm weather the car starts great or if its in the heated garage but as soon as it sits in the cold for a few hours it doesnt want to start it takes 10 mins sometimes to start acts like it doesnt get fuel although I can smell it

Sounds like it is out of time. Geo's flud easy it's getting fuel just not burning it.
