I have the same problem in my 2000 limited. Drivers seat stopped working but the light still comes on. Cannot be a fuse because one fuse is for both seats and the passenger side is working.

This looks like an OLD thread, but I happen to have the SAME problem with my 2000 Limited. My light finally quit working too.

My questions are:

1 - Does anyone have any specs or instructions to take the seat apart and look at the element?

2 - Also, if I get the element out, where can I buy a repleacement element (other than Ford - which probably charges a ton for this)?

Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
