Re: '97 Jimmy Heater Core Removal

I heard it is a bearcat...and had one done recently by my backyard mech. who charged me $75.labor...
indicating it took about 3 hrs...I bought a new aftermarket heater core $26.99 now it works great...Buy a manual...it will be money well spent..
Also, do a search on this forum about... heater core...?

Re: '97 Jimmy Heater Core Removal

I'm trying to get my heater core replaced... Done it before on other cars. Have '97 Jimmy (like you). Did you do it yourself?? Did you have to remove the dash?? if so, how? Can't find bolts to loosen upper dash.
Any info. would be appreciated!!!
