1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme (Overfueling)

I have a 1990 Olsmobile Cutlass Supreme with 3.0 M.P.FI.

Car starts fine but has erratic idle. Sometimes good sometimes goes up and down and then rough for 30 secons or so then smoothes out for about 30 seconds then it all starts over again.

Pulled air cleaner to check and when opened up smelled strong gas odor. Looked inside the air hose leading to the engine and saw gasoline laying inside the tube.

Anybody have similar problem and if so "THE SOLUTION"

Thanks in advance.

Also: The latest discovery (If this helps at all) When I removed the rubber hose from the air filter to the throttle body there was excess gas laying in the hose. Removed hose from throttle body and when we turn the key to the "ON" position fuel drips from the throttle body assembly. Start car and it revs up and sputters through exhaust then idles down smooth, then up again sputtering then down smooth. Seems to be worse after engine warms up. Any Ideas?

Thanks
