Rocker Head cover question

Hi all, I am new to this forum but have been reading through the other posts. Ok a bit about me, I am lucky enough to have two cars, my normal driving car is a Mazda Xedos 6 (work Car). But MY BABY is a 1993 Honda CRX Vti (Del Sol) which I am in the middle of modding, so far she has a full Erebuni Combat body kit, Rage back box, HKS Drop-in air filter, and some very nice 17” BSA alloys.

Now due to time and working away I have had to keep her in a lock up and am only now coming back to carry on the work . But I have found a problem the black paint on the Rocker-Head (I think it is the rocker head ) it’s the bit where you pure the oil in and has DOHC and the Honda logo in chrome, has started to flake, now I would like to change it but don’t have £250-£300 for a new one (due to marriage plans this year) so I would like to take the old one off and have it re-painted.

Now here is the question, I remember (I think) that you have to have to have a cretin torque for each of the nuts on the cover, and that they need to be tightened in the right order so does any one now what it is for the B16A2 and should I know anything before I get started .

Thanks you guys for any help.

The correct term is valve cover. The torque sequence on the valve cover shouldn't be that important. I have a JDM b16A and i have taken mine off twice and never used a specific sequence to put the nuts back on the valve cover. It is rather difficult and time consuming to get all the paint of the valve cover with sand paper. well it was for me, but i would recommend that to make it easier you get it sand blasted.
