Initial D on Ps2... or not! And more!
The word is THAT SEGA HAS NO PLANS TO RELEASE INITIAL D on the US PS2. What are these people thinking?
 I'm not very good at the game to tell you the truth... and I don't get much 'seat' time 'cus there is always some snot-nosed kid breathing over me with his ID memory card in hand. Maybe this is why I do not enjoy the game all that much... I would much rather buy it and play at home than go to the local mall and wait in line to play just one game just wait in line again! This is precisely why this game should be released on the PS2 console... I bet you all agree too? The US is eating up this whole DRIFT craze and the culture that goes with it! To release a game... hell... even a movie sometime soon will ensure MILLIONS of $$$'s for whomever is smart enough to cash in! Have you heard of the game Drift Racer: Kaido Battle for the PS2? Really cool Japanese racer game even better than ID, I think 'cus it's a lil' more realistic! It was to be released in late February but that never happend and is now rumored to have been canceled! Are these people retarded or something? Shit, it would be smart if Fast and the Furious cashed in and made a story/sequel revolving around drifting in Japan while nabbing the Yakuza alongside a school girl dressed heroine!!! <~ Yes, it's quite revolting to me, too... but you know you would see it! Need4Speed was a little smarter about this 'cus they added a lil' drift section to its UNDERGROUND game... however, I thought it was quite boring (i.e. drifting a Lancer?)... Wouln't you guys like to see Initial D on PS2 or other console? What about other games like Drift Racer? I'll tell you that I'm just about to start the petition!!!

Drifting a Hyundai is not my idea of "phun y0", so be a real man and play TXR:3  Edit: Who cares if they are "eating up the drift craze"? More power to us, I haven't seen any bandwagon jumping- ricers yet. They all wanna copy the "dorifto style y0" and spray paint their car with mesh wheels, there is no rice there. Well, it will soon be the next gen definition of rice...

YES, SIR... I'm well aware there is a part two (Kiado Battle) in Japan... but I was talking about "DRIFT-RACER" (as it is known) here in the ol' US! I think it's better than ID and a lil' more realistic 'cus you can wear down tires and brakes, plus there are way more cars... but-hey! I have not played it! Have you, Mr. modded PS2? Is there really a LIVE-ACTION movie in the mix??? I was not aware! Tell me more!!!!! I'm not trying to presaude anyone to watch FnF3!!! Just mentioned it would be a good idea for THOSE producers to cash in on the drift scene! Are you a producer, Jeff? TXR:3? You must forgive me... I'm not really considered hip anymore! I'm oblivious to most of our cultures new trends! Ricer-Drifters? There are three in my town! They all share the same car: An '86 MR2 with 15" Chrome wheels, primered black, with fart-can installed, and with several OPTION2 stickers on the rear bumper... of course they 'drift' but have yet to seen it...

"Drift Racer" will never come out, as Tokyo Xtreme Racer: 3 killed it off. Kaido Battle doesn't have tires that wear. And yes, there is a live-action movie in the works.

awesome!! I'm going to get that kaido battle 2. I heard that tokyo xtreme racer is better than the older ones...but not the best game
