Who's got the best prices?
Hey guys.....who has the best pricing on parts for Rodeo's? I have been to a few online so called "Discount" stores looking for timing belt related stuff, and although they are cheaper than my local dealership, they are still expensive. Also, what is my risk from buying an aftermarket belt and tensioner compared to buying OEM? Any input is appreciated.
"95.5 Rodeo" thanks for your help on the water temp sending unit. Although I cant see it I was able to get my hands on it and feel it. What possessed an engineer to put an expendable electric part there is beyond me. I wiggled the connector pretty good and hopefully the guage will come bnack to life. If not, I'm in for a heck of a time troubleshooting this thing! Thanks again! KC |

No problem, KC. I like to help when I can. Good luck with the troubleshooting, let us know if you figure it out. I'm having trouble with my oil pressure sending unit (it reads 150 psi @ idle) and the least expensive one I've found is: get this- $181.99 at Schucks (regular price $334.02; you save $152.03- yeah right). I haven't tried a dealer yet, I'm afraid of sticker shock. I am trying to find a gently used sender, not having much luck so far. Maybe St Charles Auto is more reasonable. I'll check it out, it would be good to have an accurate oil pressure reading for once, but I can live with it for those prices.
