No offense to anyone who is headstrong enough, but there is no way I'm getting on a plane any time soon!

Even though this is not linked to terrorism, the fact remains that he was in the sky...

You have to question the circumstances that led up to a 15 year old who is intelligent enough to fly a plane in a controlled manner, yet confused enough to deliberately plough into a building.

Assuming that it was deliberate, and that he was not simply spooked by the authorities sending a chopper in pursuit,he was obviously either very sick or a wannabe terrorist without the backing or access to a bigger plane.

If it was an accidental impact, it merits no more attention than any of the hundreds of car chases that end in fatality every year.

It seems to me that Bin Laden has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams in terrorising the population of the U.S. No offence is intended to anyone by this comment, but every time there is a perceived threat or a small disaster anywhere involving U.S. citizens, his organisation is automatically suspected to be involved.I suspect and fully understand that this will be the case until Bin Laden and all of his cronies have been brought to justice.

I agree, the kid was probably just attempting suicide like thousands of teens think of doing everyday.

It was described on the news as an unauthorised take-off - My guess is he stole it.Obviously he has acquired some flying skills somewhere, pity he skipped life skills .

That's what I was wondering, until I heard about it being an unauthorized take-off...he was waiting for his flying instructor and then took off without him (at least that's what I had heard)

they said the following :-

TAMPA, Florida (CNN) -- A note written by the 15-year-old boy who crashed a Cessna into a Tampa office building Saturday indicated he supported Osama bin Laden and that the act was deliberate, authorities said Sunday.

plus just wathcing on bbc news tv...they said he doesn;t have any direct links with terrorism but he felt sorry/showed indication of support for Bin Laden... go figure

yep read on the news it was unauthorized take-off, and there was a suicide note found on him which showed that he supported bin laden, although no direct terrorism links were found.....
