I would like to introduce myself...
I would like to say hello to everyone that was here before me and after me. My real name is Bassel, I live in Sunrise Florida, and I'm 24 years old. My current car is a 1989 Nissan 240sx. I have fitted it with a 1996 RB25DET engine. Most of you know what it is, but for those of you that dont, it is a Dual Overhead Cam Inline 6 Turbo engine that was plucked from a Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-t. Yes, I did the entire swap myself and grew quite a few grey hairs doing it. But I must admit in the end it was well worth it. If anyone has any questions about the swap, please feel free to ask me. I dont mind helping out fellow Nissan enthusiasts. Also if you need for me to source out the engine or any other Nissan engine, again, feel free to ask. And if you live in my area or in my state and need help to install your engine I'd be more than happy to lend a helping hand. I would even like to meet up with some of you Nissan guys and gals to hang out and swap stories. welcome bassel u seemed to have gone the way im going to be going...i was wondering what u think was the hardest part of the swap...im thinking the wiring is going to be...whats ur opinion?

Welcome!
Where'd you get your engine/tranny/etc? How much? Did you use different engine mounts (from unstable or something) to make it sit in the engine bay right?

I want a ride in your car! I want to experience this RB25 everyone raves about so much hehe. I live up in northern palm beach county, sorta east of Moroso dragstrip if you know where that is. some weeks they have little car gatherings up here in parking lots but it usually just brings out the ricers and pigs.
Mr brother has a cool 94 Impala SS we ride around in sometimes lookin for touble =) we are also starting to get footage together for a car DVD, if you ever want to burn some times or do some high speed cruises for the camera let me know, we could probably use some footage of a turbo 240. So far we have gotten some stuff of foolin around in the Impala at high speeds and burning up the tires. We are also editing in some misc. funny stuff that happens for interludes on the DVD, girls, local events like drag races, stereo stuff, motorcycles, car shows, Spring Break in Daytona, got some footage at BikeWeek in Daytona, probably film some scenery and cruising down in Miami and south beach as well. We are going to try to make a 2 hour DVD and sell them around for 10 bucks or less. If anyone of you guys are interested in purchasing something like this let us know, so we can get an idea on how many to intially make and sell to people we know and people we talk to on the forums. Im sure it will feature a killer soundtrack with some kickin songs and non stop action and laughs.

did you ever take it to the track? that must move really well. i heard they run a 12.7 but i really didn't believe it... good luck with the project! i was going to do the rb25 swap but wanted to spend more money on suspension and body. owell.... let us know how it runs!

If any of you need JDM clips (RB20DET, RB25DET, SR20DET, CA18DET etc. etc. ) HIT ME UP! I work for an importer, and we can deffinately get you what you need. My boss has done the RB25DET - 240SX swap too, and RB26DETT - 1994 convertable, and the list goes on and on

Its called a PIT... At a HARDCORE show. Lets see you last one minute in one buddy. And im not exactly a kid bro, dont know too many kids who are 6'6 255lb's. But o well, looks like I have a new friend huh? Hey 240-Kid, what kind of Rock's do you have? Are they HE2's? Thats the only 12's from RF that are any good. Peace
