Ticket Prices

why the hell do most bands have to jack up ticket prices for concerts. arent they already making enough money. im gonna go to the projekt revolution concert (im only going cuz of korn) and they are on sale for $50. the last korn concert i went to were only $35. korn has never had their ticket prices really high. and its just not projekt revolution tour either, it is tons of rap and pop concerts. pisses me off soo much.

Re: Ticket Prices

First of all, since this seems like a concert with more than one band. They have to split the money so that may explain why this concert costs more than a smaller one with Korn being the main band there.

Second, bands recieve a fraction of the retail price of a cd actually seeing just pennies of the profits. Some of them get most of their money from concerts and tours.

But yeah, its stil sucks for you (and me) that concerts cost so damn much but if people will buy the tickets, why would the band care?

Im going to see Rush in AUG and I think ticket prices are like 65 dollars, which is kind of steep, but it is worth it

They're like A section, but I don't know where. I like Fleetwood Mac, but not that much.
