Try bleeding on an incline. Who knows, your gauge might be messed up too? How hard are you driving... might be normal

Re: still overheating Help!

hard driving on twisty roads where you don't really get up to speed or what? Maybe you need some better fans.

Re: still overheating Help!

ya im running on the stock electric fan with the belt driven fan removed. i am getting over heating at going a excess of over 110 so i figured this may be a little dermatic. also the heater has issues with getting hot it will only get hot at high revs. this may be relating to the same issue.
thanks All!

I had a problem with my KA24E overheating, replaced everything anybody ever thought of doing. The car would get real hot in about 15 minutes of driving. You could pop the hood and my coolant would be boiling inside the resvoir. Pop the top to the radiator and no coolant was moving. Check the termostat, it wasn't that. Turns out it was my head gasket. I used one of those felt-pro head gaskets(official gasket of Nascar). The gasket wasn't cut out right for the head. I bought the whole rebuild kit funny that was the only thing that didn't fit right. Hope that helps somewhat.

Re: still overheating Help!

I Can Tell You Your Problem Right Now.....
You Just Took 850cfm Out Of Your Radiator And Direct Air On The Engine And Didn't Replace It With Anything.

That Dinky A/c Fan Is An Auxillary Fan To Aid In The Cooling Of The Engine With The Added Stress Of The A/c System. You Need To Either Hook Up The Clutch Fan Again Or Get A Electric Fan To Replace It. You Need To At Least Have The Clutch Fan Hooked Up To Pull The Air Through The Radiator And Blow Cooler Air Directly On The Engine.

If Your Car Is Over Heating Under Hard Driving Still After You Fix This Problem Try A Higher Temp Thermostat.... The Reason You Go To A Higher Temp Is To Slow The Flow Of Water Through The Radiator To Allow More Time For The Water To Transfer Heat Out And Cool Off Again.
