g35

ok ok iv read all this forum but have gotten hella confused. my mom owns a g35 sedan(sadly its the family ride). So it is for real the new skyline??(just mine is 4 doored) now is there a R model coming out that will be turbo to keep the legacy going or what....i have seen some tuned by respectable japanese companies (Top Secret etc.) but havent seen there engines. They all look identicle accept the obvious nissan badging and drive side. But all in all the g35 is a Skyline correct...with future R model possibly hitting state side??? I tell everyone its the new skyline and there like theres no way thats going to be the new skyline. So i need some clearification on all this. THe R version is still in the planning stages???and will it look the same or will it be like a totally different body style???

my thinking is it will look the same as our g35 but have a turbo engine and maybe some other upgrades...what u think?

Thanx a bunch, i will be able to sleep better knowing this lol

yes i am a punk ass 19 year old kid, but i didnt jump on the bandwagon as some of these posts say will happen. in a sense havent all of u jumped on the bandwagon also if u put it like that? i got into nissan at age 15 when i found out i would get my 240sx as a hand me down first car.....heh i think i came out ahead in the first car department. i have a 240 my dad a 300 and my mom a g35. so I want to know if we have a 240sx,300zx, and a skyline(a poor representative sedan). or is the the R version going to be more considered as the ideal skyline??

again thanx and sorry for the book of questions but i need to get my mind straight.
thank you all and good night.....or should i say morning!!!

Will you stop with the 'Skyline is a brand schpiel' already? The G35 is pretty much a V35 Skyline, and it's the closest thing we have right now. Close the thread.

Wow, just when I thought this was over.
Deja Vu!

Not even going to waste my time explaining again that the G35 and Skyline are the same. I would have thought Nissan saying it (link in the other thread) would have been enough. It's true, some people never learn...
