my car when braking makes a grinding noise anyone have any ideas? as to what it could be

Your brakes.
/insert laughter here  Have your rotors/pads checked. Stock KA rotors are notoriously shitty. If you need them replaced, get some good aftermarket ones, don't go with new OEM's.
