Re: what brand of headers are the best???

headers are headers, all the brand name companies use the same basic technology, and the same construction process, save for a few differenceses here and there, but for the most part, you do enough calculations for a given application, and there reallly is only one best design, so all of them wind up making close to the same product. find what fits, and what is affordable, and go from there. i also suggest the jethot coatings, but not over a ceramic coated header.

Re: what brand of headers are the best???

oh and by the coatings, i mean, dont jethot coat a header that already has a ceramic coating, pick one or the other. but jethot coatings to me are the best. but you have to do it inside and out.

Re: what brand of headers are the best???

From what I hear, the guys that list on thirdgen.org have a pretty good coating system and there quality of work is better than jethot. I've used them and have no complaints. there called american coating specialties. Give them a call.

you never said wut engine you have. if you have a 396 i would recommend hooker longtube ceramic coated. my dad has a 70 el camino ss396 and he put those on it, and that engine breathes great now
