Hinge bushings

Just bought a used 2000 S10. Can any one tell me an easy way, if there is one, to replace the hinge bushings and pin?

Get a long bolt or rod. One that is same diameter or smaller than the door pin. Cut a groove at the end so it dont slip off the pin. Have someone hold the door while you use rod and hammer to tap out pins. The old retainer clips on pins will break. No biggie. New pin and bushing sets are real cheap at auto store.
Door spring will pop out. You may need a spring compressor tool to reinstall it.

Make sure you put new bushings in and install the pins in same direction they came out.
If you search the S10 forum for this subject it will come up in other post you can read.
