not to be a dick or nothing but can you please use english and type correct! ok the spyder is nice but with a stereo its not goin to be as loud as if you had a non convertable, what makes it louder is the sound waves and the pressure that bounces around in the non convertable! plus there is more pressure in there!

Re: spyder vs no spyder??
This is true as well... as i, a spyder owner, have experience:
1.) Theft, when my car got stolen(though it was because my sister was a moron. The radio is just as easy to steal out of a hard top as it is for a convertible. If people are willing to do damage, they'll break the window before they try to go through the ragtop, which isn't quite as easy as you'd think to go through) 2.)Leaking top, but i've learned to accept it after having 3 convertibles. I hope to never experience the third. |

Re: spyder vs no spyder??
Another thing to think about is that the convertable adds a lot of weight and dosnt give you good down force when you are driving. If you want any speed dont bother.

That's probably the only weight difference that would be noticable, but not by much i think. |

Re: spyder vs no spyder??
You should go look at the trunk of a spyder. You cannot have a system that will hit like you would want it to. Good luck with your 8s or 10s..if even a good box for 10s could fit...that is all you will be able to fit unless you have a super custom box built.

Re: spyder vs no spyder??
With minimal bolt on mods....i.e. Injen intake, 1g BOV, down pipe, hi-flow cat, boosting at 16 psi (I took GSXracers advice and turned it down from 18) I can take my buddy’s '95 GST, which has no mods except the BCS Restrictor removal, by 3 - 4 car lengths at 80mph. And that's with the top down. Spyder is definitely the way to go!!!!
