new soon to be US registered project S15

Upon recieving my ASE certification, my first project i am going to build is an S15. Now this will be a real 100% (well ill try to be as close as possible)Silvia S15, building it from nothing. I have already started with the chassis, subframe, frame, and drive axles attatched to the diff. My plan is to complete this car within a period of 5 years. Upon completion, i shall register this car as a kit car. Right now, its at the skeleton stage. I hope to get all the mechanical/electrical out of the way, before i start with any interior/exterior work. The shell will come gradually as i need to find sources to get the rear end of an S15. When she is completed, she will stay close to stock as possible. Except for the HKS built 6 speed SR tranny, which i will purchase for personal reasons. Hopefully, this project will go well, and i wont have to deal with many problems on the way. As of now, im waiting for parts from japan. My budget is 27k, enough to buy a brand new silvia s15. Questions and comments needed. Feel free to flame, its obviously a car i dont need, but doing it for personal pleasure as i have lots of free time.

lol dont take this as a flame but u coulda got a R32 GTR on your hands right now!

i have an R32 GTR back home in the philippines. its a nice car, I really enjoy driving the skyline sports car series. But i must admit after awhile of seeing so many and actually owning one. You dont think its as special as before. So far, i find that the tuning for the S-chassis is a little more challenging, and im in favor of the s-chassis over the BNRs due to drivers prefrence.
