Re: LS6 in a feiro? nuckin futs...
I believe that there are only two right now in the country and Archie is building one as we speak. As for the two that are running I don't think they have run them at the track. There are a lot of bigger motors out there in Fiero, and they seem to do quite well.

Re: LS6 in a feiro? nuckin futs...
EnjukuRacing240sx,
nbw, said he read about the 455 in a Fiero, Well,I have seem the car, and talked with the guy that put an Olds 455 in the back of the Fiero, but size doesn't always matter. I know the old saying of there is no replacement for displacement but. I will take a well built 350 SBC over that 455. For one you can make more HP with the small block. I myself run a modified ZZ430. in my Fiero. With the modifications and all I am running 460 HP with 450 Lb. of torque. Is that big enough? I am toying with the Idea of putting twin turbos in it now. I don't know if that is going to happen but I am working on it. I will know more in a couple of weeks. Bob |

Re: LS6 in a feiro? nuckin futs...
I was at a car show in Aluburn Indiana and i saw a fiero with a 454 in it. It was cut out in the back with the carborators sticking out. I think that it had a overheating problem with that big block in such a small area because the guy would shut it off every time he stopped.

Lets say I have a donor car with a 350 would I still need the master kit from archie to get up and running? Would a clutch and the deluxe kit cut it?

If you already have a 350 all you need is a Kit from Archie. You can choose a master build kit or a deluxe kit, the choice is up to you. The master build kit has everything you will need to complete the swap. Where as the deluxe kit has just what is necessary to do the kit you will have to make a number of runs to the hardware store or parts store for a number of things. If you are a person that goes to junkyards and likes to go to all the car swap meets for parts then maybe the deluxe kit is for you. I would recommend going to Archie's site, www.V8Archie.com and doing a little researching. He has everything there that you will need to know. It will take a little looking around, it is a big site, to find everything. But I am sure you will not regret it. Go take a look and then decide which kit you need.
Good luck on your project, when it's complete you will know that all the time spent on it was worth every minute. Bob ZZ430 85GT Rebody |

FIEROS ARE THE $h!t. They are in deed awesome drag cars the best american drag car to me. A v8 in a fiero with some stiff springs and shocks will still handle like a v6 or 4 bangin fiero.
