95 neon shift trouble
I have a 95 neon SOHC automatic, when i put pressre on the throttle there is resistance @ about 3/4 pedal, if I puch past that resistance shifter goes from drive to neutral. Therefore if I put the pedal to the metal it pops out of gear. Is this the throttle pressure cable or the transmission cable? If so where is it located?

that cable is located right on the throtle body, there shoud be 2 of them, one for kick down and one for the gas pedal, try unhooking the kick down cable and see if it still happens.
let us know. |
