need some help

ok this is to try and help my friend
the car is a 91 hatchback si

her car goes from 1500 - 500 rpm(fluctuates) at idle. shes replaced the iac, and the tps i believe, what else could cause it?? its not a vaccum leak either

can any one of u guys help
she doesnt have a blown head gasket as well

Might try re-setting the idle, by pulling the EACV/IAC connector. It will throw a code tho, just re-set the ECU after your finished.

Make sure there is no trapped air in the cooling system. It will cause the ECT sensor to send bogus signals to the ECU.

thanx for the help. i'll see what she comes up with, i told her to check her ECU and lemme know of there are any codes. i duno how often it happens or how fast it goes etc... i havent heard it first hand yet
i think shes calling me thursday night to see if i can figure it out tho
