Low Budget Mod's for a 305 H.O
What are some real low budget mod's for a 85 L69 305 HO (four brl. Carb)
Already lookin at K&N filter, headers and Flowmaster exhaust... what else???

Different cam...computer chip, high flow cat. Basically just try to free up the exhaust flow 1st becuase it is very poor in stock form.

Yeah, a cam would be good-you are looking at about $130 and up. If you want to go really fast-go to a junk yard and get a used TPI from any wrecked Camaro set up with all the electrical components, sensors, comp and harnest. In other words just convert it into FI and even when stock it will boost your hp up to 210+ (with upgrades 300)

buy a 350, when my l-69 305 started to rod knock, i went to a local salvage yard, and got a strong running 350 out of a 79 g-20 3/4 ton van, i put headers on it, good ignition, the 305s intake, and some other small things and it ran great, pretty quick to, now ive got a 60 over 350 with around 450 flywheel horse, the van motor worked great though
