Nice one. I paid $4250 for a 1990, With 138,000 miles, bone stock, unrebuilt supercharger. And i thought i got a decent deal
It was the cheapest at the time, and the only stock one (I wanted one that was babied its life.

Sounds like you scored. You should check out VWVortex.com (there is a huge corrado section, with lots of info.) I definately reccomend the vortex, always helped me out with problems

is there anyway I could get more than 200 hp from the g60? or would i be better off swapping in a new engine. and how hard would a 1.8t swap be compared to the vr6? Also, would the newer 6 speed trannies fit?

ok im back now to answer the other post yes it is possible to get more than 200 horsepower with the stock g60 charger. the 16v conversion isn't easy or commonly done but www.bahnbrenner.com has info on all the parts you will need and a package for the harder ones to find. i've read that that with the stock g60 has 210 horsepower (no dynos to prove it though) i suggest to bore out the cylinders to a 2.0 liter.(compression/pistons might be an issue) bahn brenner also makes a dual screw compreessor that is the same size as the g60 which can add a ton of horses. try posting a whole new thread if you want some replies from other people
