Cool Why Im A "Car Person" (Personal)

This is my personal list of why im a car person..

-I'd rather juggle cars around in and out of the garage, just so i can be in a garage surounding, even when its perfectly nice outside (driveway)
-I'd rather watch Car & Driver TVor CCR, or Monster Garage re-runs over Top Gun..
-I work on my own cars-no one else
-My friends think im weird because i will just start randomly talking about cars
-I laught at my friends cause they think that only the Italian build good cars
-I look at almost every car and see hope..
-My 'girl' thinks im weird cause all i talk about is cars
-I know more about my neighbors Mustang then he does
-I check my oil constantly this way my car doesnt have any down time getting a rebuild
-I Spend more money on car care products then i do on food and clothes
-I laugh at people with Porsches etc. and they cant even drive a manual good
-I laught at ricers because they dont know the difference between net horsepower and gross horsepower
-I frown at the rich kids with their BMW's etc. and they dont know how to turn a wrench.

I think everyone here can relate to one of these.

i take it even further by saying that the car is an extension of the human body....when one shifts gears and uses the throttle/brakes/clutch, they are connecting with the automobile to achieve speeds that aren't normal for a human......with an automobile, the human becomes machine and the machine becomes human...it's sort of a bio-mechanical union to achieve a greater purpose, the automobile can take on a human personality such as a car that likes to gun it when the light turns green, or a car that like to take it nice and slow in the country, or cars that are powerslide crazy, while others like to grip the road as if their tires are made of krazy glue. cars that are built for sheer speed and style, while others are built for family transport and safety........that's why i love cars...I can identify with a car as if it were another part of myself

oh yea. Thats me. One time my buddies told me that I need to find a cheaper least expensive hobby........... I tried, nothing elese amuses me like going down the track and runnin over 100+ MPH or seeing a restored car that someone not only put alot of money into but alot of work and time. I wonder if this is a genetic thing?

When the best part of the night is the drive home... Windows down, revving the hell out of it (I can do that all day you know! ) and listening to the backfires when I shift. Ahhhh...

I agree with that list, for sure. This is exactly why I use a 7 year old compter, don't drink and don't eat at restaurants (too much money), did not buy curtains for my house, yet I own 8 cars.

I have my priorities!
